August 2nd 2016 - Tinee Valley, France.
David was last seen on a walk to the village of Clans from the mountain village of Marie in the Tinee Valley area of the Alpes Maritimes in Southern France on Tuesday 2nd August at around 1:30-1:45.
He was expected back at his home in Marie at 2.30 but stopped answering his phone from around 2:15.
David is 61 years of age, 5ft 11in tall and of stocky build. He has a full head of very curly white hair, blue eyes and wears spectacles.
At the time of his disappearance he was walking with two blue walking poles and wearing sturdy walking boots, a bright orange cap, beige linen trousers, sun glasses, and a brown t-shirt with a Colombian motif.
His disappearance is extremely out of character and his family are very concerned for his wellbeing.
