Dr Ali Khalil MBChB, PhD - Trustee

Ali qualified as a doctor in Egypt in 2004, he subsequently moved to the UK in 2006. Since then he has had a number of appointments within the NHS in acute and emergency medicine giving him a broad range of medical knowledge and skill to bring to LBT Global. He is currently working in a pharmaceutical company overseeing large international trials of new cancer medicines.

Ali was born to Egyptian/Turkish parents. His father worked for The United Nations, hence Ali spent the first 18 years of his life in Switzerland and France. He returned to Egypt to complete his medical training prior to settling in the UK. Ali is a native speaker of French and Arabic and fluent in English, giving him valuable multicultural knowledge and linguistic skills.
